Actor Sunjay Dutt has described his latest film 'Knock Out' as a complete entertainer that sends out a strong social message to the audience. "Well, knock out is a action thriller, it's a commercial film with lot of entertainment and it has very strong message also," said Dutt, who was here to promote the film. Director Mani Shankar said the film is based on a very strong plot in which Dutt's character will cheat those who have looted India and have many secret bank accounts across the world. "Well, it's based on aspirations of a dream that somewhere lies in the hearts of the billion plus Indians. You know we have seen sixty-three years of independence, we have seen how political leader behave and how they have looted this country. I think every Indian somewhere in his heart feels that this money is huge," said Shankar.

First look: Ash, Hrithik's Guzaarish

   Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan says that his upcoming movie Guzaaish, which releases on Nov 19, is special to him because it changed the way he sees the world.

The actor unveiled the first look of the film, which stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan opposite him in Mumbai.

  

The 36-year-old actor plays a popular magician in the movie who becomes paraplegic after meeting with a near fatal accident.

Hrithik said his role in Guzaaish was his most difficult as well as the easiest."Easiest because I managed to essay it under the guidance of Bhansali," said the actor.

Guzaaish is Aishwarya's third film with Bhansali. While each film with the director is an amazing experience, the latest project was exceptional, said the actress. "Guzaaish is a beautiful piece of cinema," she said.

When asked about she and Hrithik being referred to as the magical pair of silver screen having delivered hits like Dhoom 2 and Jodha Akbar, Aishwarya said she works with directors and not co-stars. "We actors play characters that the director envisages.

Govinda's daughter Narmmadaa has three movies in her kitty

    She is yet to debut in tinsel town but Narmadaa Ahuja, daughter of Bollywood veteran Govinda, has already bagged two more movies. "While two movies would be released in 2011, the third one would hit the screens in 2012, Narmadaa told PTI. However, she refused to divulge details on the movies except their genres.

"One is a love story, another one is a romantic comedy, and the third one is a comedy," she said. The 21-year-old budding actor said it is a bit early to talk about the projects as currently they are in the scripting stage.

Before taking a plunge in B-town, Narmmadaa has done several short films. Ever since she appeared with Salman Khan at the IIFA awards in 2007, there were speculations of her Bollywood debut.

"It was the biggest misconception that I was debuting in 2007. I was 18 years old then and was pursuing an acting course at Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute and after that I went to the London Film Institute," she said.

Being Govinda''s daughter, Narmmadaa was preferred for comedy films. "I got a lot of offers of comedy films may be because my dad is good at it.

But I did not want to come unprepared or unpolished for my first film. I want to give my best," Narmmadaa said.

'Horn Ok Pleassss' - a truck driver's hilarious love story

New Delhi, Dec 29 (IANS) Nana Patekar is all set to woo movie buffs with another comedy, 'Horn Ok Pleassss', after wining accolades for his hilarious performance as underworld don Uday Shetty in the 2007 hit 'Welcome'.

Directed by first-time filmmaker Rakesh Narang, the comedy drama featuresRimi Sen and model-turned-actor Muzammil Ibrahim alongside Nana and releases Jan 9.

Other actors in the film include Ali Asgar, Nirmiti Sawant, Mukesh Tiwari, Vrajesh Hirjee, Raakhi Sawant, Kunika and Satish Shah.

The two-hour laugh riot is about a down-to-earth truck owner Govinda (Nana) who is a great believer in love and is madly in love with his wife (Rimi).

Being a firm supporter of love, he saves the life of a heartbroken suicidal photographer Ajay (Muzammil). On learning that the boy loves a married woman, he advises him to kill the husband and chalks out a murder plan himself for his new friend.

Little does he know that he is planning to kill himself as Ajay is in love with Govinda's wife? What follows is complete madness.

Muzammil, whose first film 'Dhokha' proved to be a box office dud, is quite excited about working with a seasoned actor like Nana.

'I believe an actor needs to grow quickly. The sooner you prove yourself in a tough genre, the better. I started with a very complex role. But I feel comedy, and that too with a seasoned actor like Nana, will be really tough. Let's see. I love challenges. And the challenge of working with Nana really grabs me,' Muzammil had told IANS.

Madhavan and Nandana Sen make guest appearances in Jhootha Hi Sahi

After an impressive directorial debut in the form of Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na, all eyes are now on Abbas Tyrewala's next outing as a director- Jhootha Hi Sahi. The film stars John Abraham and Pakhi in lead roles with a host of supporting actors such as Raghu Ram, Manasi Scott and Anahita Nair. However, besides the above mentioned names there is a surprise element. One would also get to see R.Madhavan and Nandana Sen in guest appearances in the film. In fact, there were talks that even Kajol would be seen in the film. What's more, the film's official website also mentions her name as part of the cast. However, when we contacted producer Madhu Mantena, he confirmed Maddy and Nandana Sen's presence in the film but denied the rumour that Kajol is in the film.

'Rakht Charitra - Part I' is not shifting ahead

 With ANJAANA ANJAANI being pushed ahead by one week [the film will arrive on October 1], a number of forthcoming films are likely to be pushed ahead as well. Why clash with another biggie and divide the business? However, producer Madhu Mantena is sticking to the release date of both his movies - JHOOTHA HI SAHI [15th October] and RAKHT CHARITRA - Part I [22nd October]. "I am not shifting ahead," Madhu quashes rumours about RAKHT CHARITRA - Part I getting shifted to a latter date. In fact, RAKHT CHARITRA - Part I will open in three versions [Hindi, Tamil and Telugu] on the same date - 22nd October. Meanwhile, the makers are ready with RAKHT CHARITRA - Part II as well and will decide the release date once the first part has released.

Shabana and Jaya dance to 'Munni Badnaam' at Shabana's birthday party

 This has got to be the most rocking birthday party in living history. To say the ageless Shabana Azmi turned 60 with a bang on Saturday at the lounge Trilogy, would be an understatement. Real- life Munni (Shabana's pet name) rocked to the pounding sound of the new dance hit 'Munni Badnaam'. Shabana chortled the next morning, "Everybody was very amused to see Jaya and I flaunt our ambiguous dancing skills.
 Ash couldn't stop explaining that her ma-in-law was on a roll...My sister-in-law Tanvi and brother Baba wouldn't leave the dance floor. He's such a fabulous dancer, very heavily influenced by Shammi Kapoor.
 Zara socho, bhai itna achcha dancer aur bahen has two left feet! Everybody danced to songs from yesteryears and of course 'Munni Badnaam' was a favourite." I missed Shyam Benegal and Mahesh Bhatt who are out of the country." "People around her can hardly bear her for 60 years. How will they bear her that long?" said Javed Akhtar when someone sang 'Tum Jiyo Hazaaron Saal' for his wife in the party.
